The Louisiana AGC Past Presidents & Lifetime Honorary Members Dinner Party was held Friday, April 13, 2012 at the Baton Rouge Country Club. Courtney Fenet, Jr. and David Huval Sr. were both inducted as Lifetime Honorary Members of the association.
Louisiana AGC member, Faulk and Meek General Contractors, won an Alliant Build America award in the Renovation Under $10 Million category for its extensive work on the 104-year-old St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Brusly.
Louisiana AGC member Cycle Construction Company, Kenner, LA, received the AGC of America 1st Place Construction Safety Excellence Award in the Federal & Heavy division (100,001-300,000 work hours).
Louisiana AGC was honored with an AGC Chapter Public Relations Award for Best Overall Public Relations Campaign in 2011 for its successful charity events held throughout the year. Vic Weston, Tri-State Road Boring, Inc., accepted the award on behalf of the chapter.
